Privacy policy

BothFit ("we", "us") is a free fitness and nutrition tool operated from Spain. This policy explains what data is involved when you use bothfit.net. Because we run no accounts and store nothing about you on our servers, the data that matters here is what our third-party advertising provider collects.

What we store: nothing

BothFit stores no personal data on our servers. There are no accounts and no login. The answers you give the plan wizard stay in your own browser (sessionStorage) and are cleared when you close the tab — they are never sent to us. Your calculations happen entirely on your device.

Advertising & cookies

BothFit is free and funded by advertising. We use Google AdSenseto show ads (and may add other ad networks, such as Ezoic, as the site grows).

• Google's use of cookies: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to BothFit and other sites.
• Data categories these providers may process: approximate location, device and browser information, and ad-interaction data — undertheir own policies.
• Opt out of personalized ads: you can manage or disable personalized advertising inGoogle Ad Settings. In the EU you can also useYour Online Choices, and elsewhereaboutads.info. Opting out means you still see ads, just non-personalized ones.

Consent (EEA, UK & Switzerland)

If you visit from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we show a Google-certified consent message (IAB TCF v2.2 + Consent Mode v2) before non-essential advertising cookies are set. You can accept, reject, or manage your choices — choosing "Do not consent" serves you non-personalized ads instead. You can change your choice at any time via the consent option on the page.

Your rights

Under the EU/UK GDPR and Spain's data-protection law (LOPDGDD), you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Under the CCPA (California) you can access, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about ad data are best directed to the relevant provider (e.g. Google) via the links above. We are happy to help point you to the right place — contact us below. EU users also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; in Spain this is theAEPD.

Children

BothFit is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when adding a new ad network or analytics). The "last updated" date below reflects the current version.
